Clinic-Based ABA
Clinic-based ABA services involve receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a clinical setting. The clinic offers a structured environment where therapists can implement interventions and activities to support the individual's progress and development.
Introducing Canvas™: The Behavior Analytic Art Curriculum
Radiant Behavior is proud to implement Canvas, a structured art-based curriculum grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Developed by Natasha Bouchillon, MS, BCBA, Canvas is designed to use art as a purposeful and measurable tool for teaching critical skills.

Canvas focuses on fostering communication, flexibility, and connection by integrating principles of Relational Frame Theory (RFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Designed specifically for children engaged in ABA therapy, the program considers each client's unique developmental profile and incorporates individualized supports to enhance their learning and growth.

By combining creativity with evidence-based strategies, Canvas offers an engaging way to support learning while maintaining the integrity and structure of high-quality ABA programming.

What is Art-Based ABA?
Our approach is not art therapy. While both may use art as a medium, art therapy focuses on emotional healing and is delivered by a licensed art therapist. In contrast, art-based ABA uses art as a tool to:
-
Promote social interaction and peer connection
-
Build teamwork and cooperation skills, enhancing the client's ability to connect with others
-
Allow autonomy to encourage exploration and creativity at the client's pace
-
Teach relational frames such as sameness, difference, and comparison
-
Support communication development
Who benefits from Art-Based ABA?
This service is especially impactful for:
-
Individuals who are highly motivated by creative activities
-
Individuals who may feel overwhelmed in traditional ABA settings
-
Learners who benefit from visual, sensory, or hands-on learning
-
Families seeking a more compassionate and affirming ABA experience
