Art-Based ABA
Supporting growth through art that’s as purposeful as it is expressive

Designed specifically for children engaged in ABA therapy, Canvas considers each child's unique developmental profile and incorporates individualized supports to enhance their learning and growth
Child-Led Art Activities
Canvas emphasizes child-led art activities, giving children choice and autonomy to explore creatively at their own pace. Emphasis is placed on assent, ensuring that the child is willing and eager to participate in the activities
Relational Framing
Art activities teach relational frames like sameness, difference, and comparison through categorization, matching, and association-building, helping children understand and apply these concepts.
ACT Principles
Canvas integrates ACT principles by using art to encourage mindfulness, emotional expression, psychological flexibility, and values-based goals aligned with the child’s interests.
Social Connection
Group art activities are facilitated to promote social interaction and peer connection. Collaborative art projects build teamwork and cooperation skills, enhancing the child's ability to connect with others.
Communication
Communication goals are integrated into art activities, such as requesting materials and describing artwork. Visual supports and augmentative communication tools are used as needed to support the child's communication development.
